Funspot Games Limited is a Hong Kong–registered independent game studio focused on developing commercial mobile games for Android and iOS. The company was incorporated in Hong Kong on 3 August 2026 and is based in Sha Tin.
The studio operates as a founder-led practice: game design, programming, monetisation design and store submission are all carried out by the founder. That shape is deliberate. It means the person who scopes your project is the person who builds it, estimates come from the hands that will do the work, and there is exactly one point of accountability from kick-off to release. We work in Chinese and English, and take on both original titles and contract development delivered against a client's specification.
How we work
The process is short because there is only one link in the chain.
- Feasibility first — before anything is built, we agree on the goal, the platform constraints and what "finished" means. If a concept will not work commercially or technically, that is said up front rather than discovered three months in.
- Specification in writing — deliverables, milestones and acceptance criteria are written down before development starts, so there is no ambiguity about what is being paid for.
- Playable at every milestone — each stage produces a build you can install and play. Progress is inspected, not taken on trust.
- Still here after release — store submission, post-release fixes and version updates are handled by the same person who wrote the game.
What we stand for
- No promises we cannot keep — if a deadline or a feature is not realistic, you will hear it early and plainly.
- Constraints stated up front — store policies, device performance limits and the commercial realities of mobile monetisation are explained before they become expensive.
- Your intellectual property stays yours — for commissioned work, rights in the delivered build transfer to you under the contract. Original titles remain ours unless agreed otherwise.
